The HiPath 500 communications platform boasts a convincing and extensive range of convenient features. optiPoint 500 digital system phones with easy-to-graspoperating principals facilitate straightforward and interactive user guidance.An innovative adapter concept enables flexible connection to a wide range ofaccessories, meaning that individual workstations can be adapted to suit changingrequirements. You achieve optimum mobility with HiPath Cordless Office – the integrated cordless solution – without losing out on the benefits of system phones.

Intelligent call distribution (UCD)and individual combinations, such as the manager/secretary function, are further features that ease the workload. HiPath 500 isbased on Euro-ISDN technology (DSS1) for digital network and user interfaces. In order to protect the communication system and customer data from unauthorizedaccess, entry into the service menu can be made only via individual user recognition. This means that verification of who made which system changes, andwhen, can be made at any time.

Integrated voice mail.

All HiPath 500 communication systems possess especially powerful, integrated voice mail. So no more calls are lost, even in cases where an extension is temporarily unmanned.

Individual onhold music, announcement notification for quick taking of calls, or automatic relaying for targeted patching through via subsequent dialing all make the voice-mail system especially convenient for callers.

On top of this, the following performance features are available:

■ Mailboxes:

Up to 24 personal mailboxes with two individual member announcements can be installed in the system.

■ Message display

Incoming messages are shown in the display of the optiPoint system telephone. In addition, notification by LED is

possible when menu keys are engaged.
